Ditto

Often, I think about how big, yet so small the world is. There are over a billion people with endless stories, yet we all end up in the same place. It all breaks down to these crowds being individuals, even though you may never cross each other paths. It is amazing how you spend your life simply living and dealing with yourself, but everyone else is doing the same. Everyone has a future, a goal, a way of living. I made this project based on the idea of life being an endless cycle of learning and routine but it all comes to the same conclusion. No matter your class, your race, gender identity, or even zodiac, we are all fragile beings that can be grouped in statistics that make us the same. Ditto is an image series that depicts these differences and similarities. Where we mold ourselves to be individuals that can make our own life interesting. A depiction that everyone is the same person, but different.
